I loved this episode and after watching it I realized how much I love Fluttershy. Her kindness is just pure.And yes Discord loves her hug, but he doesn't really want to admit it.

I do have a fanfic. but that's part of the problem. this episode invaditeds not just my fic but all the fics that portray Discord as pure evil.

yes, that happens to fanfics, but you can still continue your fanfic and all the others about him being evil. I do like some fanfics, but most portray him as a misunderstood one. I also started a fanfic, and luckily i am not that far yet, so i can use some info from this in it.
also i found a coincedence in the "villians" Everytime the mane six use their element, the villain is turned good, nightmare moon is pured and became luna again, and Discord is now not evilish anymore. Chrysalis is thrown away by the power of love (cadence) and Sombra blown away (killed) by her too. Until next episodes with villains, this could still say something about future villains. AND of course that the power of friendship is more powerfull then love xD

Well, the target audience of the show are still kids. No matter how many adults watch it, the theme of the show is still for kids. And a villain being turned from evil to good is kind of a kid thing. But I agree with you. I really didn't like it when Discord turned good. I mean, he's the spirit of chaos and disharmony.
