Nordlys = Northern Lights in NorwegianUsed both sai and ps. Also used some photos (taken by me ofc) and mixed them with drawings. That was really fun!

Damn, when I saw that title I instantly put it into my favourites. Nordlys also mean northern lights on danish, so I fell in love. Plus the picture is really gorgeous, good job <3

my OC is named Sky Aurora and she was named after the Borealis lights.
in a rough story of her background, a guard told luna that she was drawing and ruining her night so she banished Sky to the stars
i feel like this piece. this beautiful piece captures her looking at the sky at night and realizing that Sky was making her nights more beautiful.

Oh wow so pretty! i don't usually go for MLP art but this is very well done. Luna's mane is especially epic.
Constructive criticism: next time paint over the photo manipulations a bit more to smooth the affect, so that it isn't quite as jarring between the painted and photo scenes

I got to see it back when I lived in England(That's where my dad says we saw it). It's the only thing I remember about living there since we moved away when I was very young.

I saw the northern light in Norway. I was on a school trip and me and a few friends decided to go out at night to take pictures of the stars, and then we was met with this mesmerizing light. That was really exciting. And since we had cameras with us we got to capture it on photo
