Heres my problem with emos, they complain about how their life sucks and all yet they have clothes on their back, they have food in their stomach, they are not sick or dyeing, they have a roof over their heads, etc etc and yet they claim their life sucks. There are enough people who aren't emo who complain about how their life sucks. Maybe you don't, but other people do. And maybe some of them have really problems, it doesn't matter if you have a roof, food and clothes, everyone has problems and everyone talks about it. Are they all emo then? And btw, not all emo's cut themself. It's just a thing what came into this world and now everyone thinks emo cut. Everyone can cut are they all emo then?
And emo hasn't something to do with depression, emo has something to do with how you dress and what music you listen. It's a style.

But in all honesty no real man complains and cries like a bitch when he can work to solve his problems and straighten his life out. It seems theres no way I can convince you that the vast majority of emos DO live up to their stereotypes so let me move onto another reason why emos are hypocritical trend whores.

Emos claim that they branched off from punk but they couldn't be more WRONG, Lets clarify shall we, What are some of the main aspects of punk and I mean real fucking punk:
Real punk is an underground subculture, it is very anti mainstream and anti authority, true punks stay away from trends and they stay away from the social norm. Other subcultures like Goth branched off from punk however unlike emo goth still holds true to some of the main punks aspects. Real goth is anti mainstream and anti conformity. Real goths dont shop at Hottopic and prefer to make their own clothes(This is not mandatory but is very common). Let it be known that emo is a trend! Its just something whinny angst filled teens group themselves into to feel hardcore. There is no REAL culture behind emo and no matter what these hypocritical emos say they are not a branch of punk!

Hmm have you hear all emo's saying that their style came from punk? I guess not. So what ur saying there is not true. Emo's have their own style, just like goths and punkers. Emo's look different then goths and punks. SO they have their own style. And you can't say something what isn't true. I can tell that you didn't speak to EVERY emo in this world.
