This looks more like something you'd see in a Quake game, rather than Doom.
It's the multitude of surgical scars and cybernetic tubes/armor.

This is so AWESOME!!! XD The detail you've put into this is absuletely amazing; the anatomy is dang accurate, the machinery is bad-ass, the shading is epic and I love the dramaticness of all the details and shapes. He seems almost a mixture between rag-doll science and the Quake Strogg machinery and weaponry. I also like how you used pipes instead of horns and one eye being binocular technology.

Wonderful! I love the details, especially the stiches. Doom has never been among my favorite games out there but it's nice that some people draw inspiraion from it and do a true artwork such as this. Amazing work! ^_^

im loving this, but it reminds me of the strogg in quake rather than the doom cyberdemon. either way, it looks really good. the detail on the guns is incredible. it makes me realise just how much more i need to practice.

Everybody loves doom! My brother just tried out Doom 3 and it kicks ass! and then, we reinstalled the original Doom's 1 & 2. Oh God..
