Concept sketches of Drizzt Do'Urden from the forgotten realms books, a friend wants me to draw him for him so this is just some roughs getting a feel for the character, i also just read the first book of the "dark elf trilogy" to get to know this charcter who from what i've read and heard is very well known and loved so i hope this comes out goodRelated content

Oh yay!!!!! I love Drizzt! He's so cool! I'm in the middle of reading the entire series. It's so long, but R.A. Salvatore is such a great author, and I love how you interpreted him!

thanx, i just started reading it and i wasn't sure id be into it but i love it, thanx for the compliment on the drawing my friend said all the pics he seen done for the actual books didn't look how he imagine him so he wanted me to put a spin on him

Well, all the pictures I have seen make him look like an old man, or an Indian shaman

yeah how i imagined it when reading was that these elves didn't really start showing age till they were over 600 years old, an in my head i always imagined elves as living centuries but they still look youthful
