History
Laohw is descended from a long line of werewolves that have believed in the precepts of never mingling with humans. However, his father strayed from the ancient traditions and married a human woman. As the years passed, Laohw's father constructed a multi-millionare company. However, managing such a huge presence in the human world instead of leading a quiet life after marrying a human earned the contempt and disdain of fellow werewolves.
A few months after Laohw was born, his mother died from a mysterious accident. Completely shaken and shocked of his wife's sudden death, his father turned to his company, burying himself with work.
When Laohw was born, his father gave him into the care of his uncle, one of the few werewolves that maintained a relationship with Laohw's father after his exile. Too busy with work, it seemed his father had passed any parental ties to Laohw's uncle.
Instead of his father, Laohw's uncle was the one who bit Laohw at the age of 7 and turned him into a werewolf. The usual custom is to have the father "turn" the son, while the mother "turns" the daughter.
His uncle hammered the traditional customs of his werewolf lineage into Laohw and sent him to school. But due to his father's actions, he was constantly bullied and ridiculed by his peers. Insulted because of his werewolf father that dared to marry a human, he began to harbor hatred for his birth parents.
By the age of 17, Laohw had been expelled from several schools for fighting and injuring other students. His uncle soon heard of an academy that cultivated special students. Hoping that Laohw would behave in a school that didn't teem with werewolves, his uncle signed him up for Halloween Academy.

Personality
Laohw's childhood experience consisted of being transferred to numerous schools, being bullied at every turn. He eventually grew tired of this and began to fight back. His fights were usually one vs. many, and he quickly adapted to the term of brain over brawn. Winning some, losing some, he soon came to depend on his own strength and ability. Overbearing and prideful, he grew to love werewolf powers and capabilities. Valuing intelligence, Laohw is an avid student, willing to learn and study. He likes books, but doesn't love them to the point that he's a bookworm.
Laohw pushes away kind words and responds more to harsh criticism or insults.
Although he is rich because of his father, he's very independent and doesn't like to rely on money.
Laohw doesn't mind mingling with other species, but as soon as he smells a werewolf, he's instantly on his guard.

Abilities
In his human form, Laohw has half the capability of a wolf's normal sense of smell and hearing. He can see in the dark.
In his wolf form, he has the full capacity of a wolf's sense of smell and hearing. His fur is completely silver.
Instead of relying on physical strength, Laohw prefers to outsmart his opponents.

Quote:
"Who the hell do you think I am?"

He usually says this when he's fighting other werewolves, as werewolves have always made fun of his family name.
But instead of answering with his full name, Laohw Silven, he just says Lao. Even saying his full name brings a bad taste to his mouth.

Misc:
People use Lao as a nickname.
His silver eyes and hair come from his mother, which is a bit ironic as werewolves hate the metal silver.
He has a scar over his right eye (as you can see) and a crisscross scar on his right shoulder (which you cannot see).
Although he doesn't like to rely on money, he does like nice clothes.
When he transforms, he takes off his shirt/sweater/jacket/etc. but leaves his pants because they come off automatically when he transforms into a wolf. So when he transforms back, he's basically nekkid. Which is usually why he doesn't until he's back in a room with clothes.
