Another yôkai ! This time, it's Jinmenju, the tree with human-faced fruits.
It was quite a while I wanted to draw it but it never found a composition I appreciate until now.

Today it's done! I draw the imaginary world with a completely different style than the "normal" person to show how far they are opposed.
The person is from the real world, but a past one; he is dressed like a chinese man (Jinmenju is supposely located in a chinese valley). He is pretty young but doesn't look horrified, just uncomfortable. Only pure-hearted can meet yôkais!

The landscape reminds me a tapestry or a fresco. Maybe the boy is just backed on a wall and his imagination gives the life to the setting.
