it's not just you, that movie was rather rushed with a shallow plot and forced scenes that referenced the first 3 movies. an average action movie, and sux you never got into the original series. Force Awakens did have some fun action scenes though.

pretty sure he meant to say that as a joke, because it's been a long-running joke that people who aren't into either of the series get them mixed up often and nerds get super pissed when people do that.
