Hound tri is not rare in my country and around it. We have only few clasic tri though. She is now mated with such a dog, so I hope to get nice tricolour puppies

Oops I thought I said she... Yeah Papillons are still trying to gain popularity here in the U.S. everyday when we take ours out we always get many surprised people asking us if they are a new breed of dog! They enjoy the attention though. LoL We have wanted either a Tri Hound or Mahogany colored Papillon for years now but they are very rare here in the U.S. since there aren't many professional breeders in this part. But we do have a red and white girl named Cleo, a Black and White boy named Kenai, and their daughter who is a Classic Tri Isis and we love them all very much.

I hope she has a safe pregnancy and produces beautiful, healthy puppies!

I know that they are pretty well known on the east coast of the U.S. so it just may be that we live on the west coast. You will have to post some pictures of them after they are born I would love to see them! Newborn papillons are the absolute cutest! We used to breed our dogs it was a lot of fun, I loved watching those clumsy little ones flop around the house.

Me too! Papillon in French means "butterfly". They are called like that because of their ears. Very similar breed phalene with dropped down ears (like that [link] ) in French means "moth"
