Snow White and her prince as Catherine and Tilney from Northanger Abbey
When deciding who would be Catherine, it was between some of the more naive princesses (Aurora, she was pretty sheltered, Giselle...) and I decided to go with Snow White. Granted, she's not that naive, she did have to go through some servitude... but I liked the idea of drawing her startled, and I liked the idea that her prince is a bit of a tease (I don't think he has much personality to work with, so why not add a little
) so he's teasing her about something shocking and then tell her she's got too wild of an imagination after that (hey, that works, Snow thought she saw a bunch of evil creatures in just trees). This has been my favorite so far because I didn't have to fix it up on the computer at all, and I like Snow's dress best of the ones I've done so far. I did have trouble with Prince/Tilney's head trying to make him look like a tease but still like that prince.
This probably takes place at one of the balls in Bath since they're dressed so nice

Aw, I love this!
But he looks kind of like a er, pedo prince. But I looooove regency and Snow White, so it all works out. Also, the Prince is a pedo-prince and a necro-prince. I mean, she was dead! I'd never get the urge to kiss some dead guy I happen to find in the forest!

"Pedo"?? Yeah, the Necrophilia is a little creepy... but he did search her out, it's not like he was kissing just any corpse... that and she hadn't like decomposed, right?

Yeah, in the Disney version, at least...
But the Grimm one is... odd. They've never met and he just happens upon her in the forest in her coffin and then ends up taking her coffin with him back to her castle. On the way, the apple comes out of her throat and she wakes up. I'd personally be freaked out if some guy was dragging me away while I was sleeping.

aw, who did you want? Belle would have also worked well, but I really wanted Beauty/Beast as Elizabeth/Darcy :S
