Ooh, and Schandmaul too! Every German that I've talked to has never heard of them, Faun, or Qntal. Clearly I ran into the wrong people ^_^

Yeah most haven't heard of them, that's right. I think other bands of this scene are more famous like Subway to Sally or my favourite In Extremo. But they become too famous... the tickets are really expensive now and the concerts are crowded...

Ah, sad. I do like Subway to Sally as well - and I've heard "Ai Vis Lo Lop" by In Extremo. That certainly is disappointing to be one of the "core" fans of a band, only to get pushed aside by the new waves of fans. It's bitter sweet. On the one hand, I feel bitter about these new people who don't really know the band, but on the other hand, I know I need to be happy for the band getting more fans.
