Description
Here is another of my original mermaid characters. I chose the title for a reason; mermaids encourage our imagination (and mine of course) and because they are so mysterious creatures, you are, willingly or not, attracted to their charms and unusual appearance that you simply want to track one down. This is probably why so many men drowned.
Ok, not my best jokes but hope you don't mind.

Technique: pencil (HB 0.5; 6B); color pencils (black; light and dark blue; light and dark green; okre)

lol, i kno, hair (and pretty much everything) has to look like its underwatwer, and i think thats were so much realism is lost wen doign mermiads

Yeah, you're right. And doing it with pencil in particular requires a lot of time. I think this is easier t achieve with watercolors.

Not just that; you can go in such tiny details with pencil; with watercolors that's impossible. And when I'm in good mood, I really go into details
