That's my only complaint(?) of season one - it was too slow! The action scenes were slick when they did happen, but they were too few and didn't last long enough in my opinion :/ I'm not looking for a Matrix lobby shootout but the overall pace certainly could have been faster, you know? Anyway thanks for commenting

I don't know if the series was ever trying to be an action piece. ^~ at least with season one they were nigh-invincible save for conflicts from within.

I got you, and that's one of the reasons it's one of my favorite series of all time. It didn't take the easy road into a run of the mill girls-with-guns anime but at the same time the overall pace was all kinds of slow, which made it difficult for me to recommend to my pals. (Quick note, how on earth do you make italics, bold, cross-out words etc. on DArt?)
