there is a hell of a lot more that goes into interacting with fans than just replying to comments. one comment section on one picture on one website won't get you anywhere close to a good idea of everything that goes on or how they approach things.
Also, NC clearly states that this is just a super quick sketch in the description. "Low effort" no shit.

You know, DA has a note system for private messages. Useful for discussing things that have nothing to do with other folks, heh. I just imagine it gets a little tiring, repeating the same reply is all. Notes are good stuff - just hit up the top corner of any given person's page!

Oh, no - check that your profile's got it all. If I was you I'd get to learning how to deliver real critique, bud. What you got going now isn't helping anyone and only invites backlash and negativity. Note how everyone who replies has been immediately forced into the defensive.Β
Thoughtful, constructive critique does nothing of the sort and never attacks, you know? Real critique helps and builds people up. These unnecessary comments and journals completely nullify anything meaningful you might be trying to say, unfortunately. After only the first comment nobody can take you seriously.
Don't sweat it, though - this sort of thing is very common on DA. A dime a dozen, if you will! Look around on sites such as ArtStation or ConceptArt.org, taking note of the critiques in particular. In my opinion DA is more of a 'hobby' site while those two are more 'professional.'

I can only say 'thank you' so many times before sounding like a broken record, haha. In fact, DA will eventually warn a user that they are spamming if they say it too much!
It seems you're far more interested in trying to start fights and hurt people than help them, however. I do hope that you come to a place in which you don't feel you need that, and I replied in an attempt to lend a hand because I try to be quick to help folks. Not a lot to do when they plain don't want it, though. Ah well - good luck out there!

He critiqued my scribble. I'm glad, because that made it easy for me to ban him from my own stuff. All he does is try to build himself up by trying to beat down artist with his made up crusade.

Just two comments ago I tried explaining how to deliver legitimate critique in a constructive, effective manner and even referred a couple websites in which good critique is a common occurrence. I guess it's OK if you don't pay it any mind, but I'm hoping other folks can make good use of it. Perhaps this was best not be discussed in notes after all - thanks bud.
