Description “Love is like a rose. It looks beautiful on the outside...but there is always pain hidden somewhere.”~

Just a little art concept. Her dress is supposed to represent the petals of a rose and her spine the thorns. ~

Since a rose usually doesn't have a huge life expectancy, I thought it would be great to add a darker, less bright, side to the drawing (the dead forest in the background symbolizing the death of the rose).

Je trouve juste ça moins «froid», dans le sens qu'on sens un côté plus personnel et moins «automatique». C'est dur de mettre du vivant dans du digital surtout si on travaille en vectoriel. Tes couleurs contribuent beaucoup à ça.

Je vois exactement ce que tu veux dire. Il faut croire que pour une fois j'étais vraiment inspirée.! Ha.!Ha.! Mais tu as raison, les couleurs y sont pour beaucoup (c'est d'ailleurs pourquoi je m'acharne ces temps-ci à améliorer ma colo.!) ~

To tell you the truth, it was pretty hard.
I was afraid in the middle of the drawing that it wouldn't look like a rose at all and hardly like a dress.
