Hi, here's the first shot of the Deer I saw this morning while out n about. I found this one,as it was bedded in the thick marsh brush,and when it stood up, took this pic. After taking this shot, a few more stood up, for a total of 7 Deer. The bushes were really tough to shoot through, so I got a few postable pics, but it was fun watching them as they "tried" to sneak away from me.They really HIDE so well.....

Yeah when I go out looking for Deer, I move wicked slow...this way you have a chance to scan the brush and stuff for them. 99% of the time I'll spot just a part of them, and then the whole deer becomes apparent. If I was walking at a normal pace.. would've gone right by and never seen them.They only moved when I stopped, after spotting them and trying to get closer.

Yeah it is.. I saw just the tip of one ear when it was laying down, and as I moved in closer for a clear pic, it stood up. I couldn't even see the others till they moved and got up. With all the snow still on the brush, man it was tough trying to find an open hole to shoot through.
It certainly does pay off to move at a snails pace when out looking for these rascally critters..
