Hi, Yup I had to watch and wait for about 15 minutes as each parent came back. Some of the shots weren't any good because the chick was hidden by the parent. So I moved to give a wider angle, and that way both would be in view.. after that only took about 5 shots, and this is the best of those. Total time I would have to say was about an hour and a half.   Funny thing, the 2 shots posted are only a few minutes apart.  You never know if you captured the scene quite right till you post process and view the shots on the monitor. That's what is so cool about Digital, you can delete,and not waste money on developing film. Just keep the good ones!

Hiya, thanks for sharing the story! That's quite a wait and amount of patience you put into getting this shot then, I don't think I'd be able to sit and wait for so long. I can imagine it was tricky with the parent getting into the way at times as well. And that's indeed the great thing about digital photography, you can just take all the photos you want, and sort when you're back home
