i know all the dan hate has long dissipated by now and im glad, i mean i feel like i was one of the only initial supporters at the time but i gotta say, i thought it was a much funnier show when jon was around. arin and jon had almost perfect improvisational synergy with each other it felt so organic. and now it feels really forced imo. and i think mostly the problem is arin to be honest, he just seems like a different person. i mean the shows still watchable and entertaining to some degree but jon and arin captured magic in a bottle with that show. but thats just me diff strokes. cool piece btw. i like the vs font and the whole aesthetic vibe is very disney.

I agree with what you're saying. Dan keeps the show watchable, but not on par with the original duo. Even though Arin is the constant, his friendship with Danny seems closer than with Jon, so they never have points that involve them arguing the opposite side. They know each other too well to make conflict on the show. Also, the addition of Steam Train was pretty instantaneous with Jon's departure, so for me I got tired of Danny really fast. thank god someone replied, i don't feel like a obsessive compulsive weirdo anymore haha. i know it seems like a weird think to put so much rumination behind but game grumps has been valuable background noise for me for a while now and when you just switch hosts instantaneously like that it effects the show alot and still is effecting the show now. i dont know if i agree with that arin and dannies friendship trumps arin and jons though. i mean all that is based on the perception of the viewer but if you were to ask me i think consistent debate and argument is a sign of a unrestrained and sincere relationship. i feel around the people i dont know very well i for sure have to put on a mask of friendliness but if someone ive know for 12 years says something silly i jump on em like a shark! thats just me doe.
