Description (Sorry for crappy quality...scanner murdered it...)

So I'm in Art 1 this semester--whoohoo!--and apparently my class is way ahead of the other two, schedule-wise, so today we got to go try some figure drawing with the Advanced Art students. It was so fun! I mean, I like charcoal and all, but it was nice to take a break from that and do something like this.

This is the second of two pages that I did. The first one was much sketchier as that was the one on which we were given only 10-30 seconds to draw. On this page we were allowed up to five minutes (though usually three) and therefore...more detail. XD

I learned a decent bit about drawing realistic people doing these...which I really needed, haha. For example, the head is going to be drawn much smaller than you'd expect. And the action line/spine sometimes needs to be much more exaggerated than you'd think.

I hope we get to do more fun stuff like this later. :3
