Description
Jasmine flowers bloom their sweet scent from a new (familiar) cup.
They make an excellent cup of tea (for two),
at least that's what people say but
my mind is too lost in thought (memories) to linger.
Why is it that snow petals and saccharine steam
would always (always)
fade into dark hair and bitter dreams?

It's always the same forgotten images:
the same (chocolate) eyes,
same (fragile) smile,
same (ancient) tears. Of all the things
I should remember
(shouldn't remember),
why these and how?

For once I'd like to see that person (again),
the one I can't recall but still remember
because of the fragrance of
white buds (his skin)
among green leaves (his clothes).
I want to know the name of
this scattered (only) memory,
the one who smells (smelled) like jasmine.
