Description

Exploring some lady Zora designs. (A Legend of Zelda race) They could possibly be Zora from different regions of the land. I just posted some detail shots of them on my art page too if you'd like to check them out: www.facebook.com/NateHallinanA…

I've always been confused as to why the game designers gave female Zoras boobs. Like, aren't they essentially humanoid fish?? Have you ever seen a fish with boobs??? I just don't get it >.<

i know man like fish dont make milk so why the boobs lol. i made fish like creature but with out boobs.. However i will admit that these fish ladies are very cool so im fine with it here lol.

Because that's the only way we simple humans with our simple brains can distinguish between male and female. Boobies=girl or very fat man. But then by your logic they'd have to get rid of the arms, legs, and fingers as well. So you might as well throw some boobs in there. But I can understand your point.

As one who absolutely loves the Zora race, this is just utterly gorgeous. The left one in particular has me stunned, the elegant flow of her forms, fins and skin pattern is nothing short of perfection. Marvellously done, good Sir!

I love all of them! By the simple look I would guess they each come from different water regions indeed. Especially due to their markings. The left one could be a lake zora, with more delicate fins, since lakes and pounds tend to be quite calm waters and her markings remind me of ripples when you throw a stone into calm waters for example. The middle one looks like an ocean zora to me, her markings just remind me of seafoam and the fins remind me of those of a swordfish. Small, but sharp edged for little water resistance while swimming. And the right one finally could be a river zora. Stripes that look like streaming water, large, sharp edged fins to keep balance while standing still in the water and making as little resistance as possible. Her head also seems to be the longest, which again reminds me of long rivers.
Damn cool, all of them! Congrantulations!

It looks so alien yet reminiscent enough to where you would recognize it as a zora.Β

It doesn't matter how much we loved zoras. Deep inside us we knew they would look like that if they were more realistic.

Anyway, as a LoZ fan, I love it!

So, they are like the Gerudo, but they are the underwater female race while the Gerudo are the surface dwelling all female race? Or does their name imply they are a all female race, or they have both sexes in their race? Kinda like of how we see a lady bug and assume it is a female, but there are both male and females.

Their name is Zora, not Lady Zora. That's just what the artist is calling this one.
