Description
This is my latest commission, (the same person who commissioned me for the Concertina Angel) with the traditional symbol of Christ's Heart.
From top to bottom: The cross symbolizes his death/suffering, the crown, how He is the King of Heaven and Earth, the flames show the immense, burning love He has for us all, the thorns are the torturous crown that was pressed onto his head before death, and the bleeding on the left symbolizes the wound he sustained from a soldier after death(to insure someone on a cross had died, soldiers would brutally spear the side of the criminal's body to double check).
The lights show how Christ is the light of the world, shining in the darkness.
