She reminds me a bit of some Egyptian work, too, oddly enough. I like the much more pronounced light-play you've achieved here.

That's an interesting interpretation of similarity you have. Since darker skin tends to absorb, rather than reflect light, I wanted the shape and shadow to still be evident. Thanks for all your kind comments Nibble!

Actually, I have done a few more. I originally posted just the angels I found to be a bit stronger conceptually in the gallery here, but later, just added them as I went.
I made a Native American one once, and generally speaking, the more tanned-skin ones for me, could be other races.(Or at least, that was my intention when I made them more olive complected)
But I like adding other skin tones in there, as I love variety! And, I will be sure to make some more in there. Thanks again.
