It's been awhile, but I'm excited about this!I found a pretty gross skirt at a local thrift store (see image on left), for $1. It's solid sequins and beads, sheer with a silk lining, and it's pretty huge. That's why it's folded over and pinned on my dressform. Not bad for a dollar.
Well, I wanted to make something fancy for new years, and a corset it was. Especially out of this lovely fabric. I love it and I can't wait to wear it!

Thrift stores are fantastic <3 . I found a huuuuuuuugeeeee leather skirt once that I bought and made a bunch of things out of...when I bought it the check-out lady looked at me funny.
