Okay, so I had a funky dream about a tiger and glowing green rocks (Lookit, Kryptonite!) and got inspired to doodle. I used the computer to touch this one up a lot, especially since scanners tend to white-out colors and things a bit⦠But anywho, here he is. Looking all purdy. (And for the record, I was outta my fuzzy little head for wanting to use two different light sources.)Related content

You have a good grasp of anatomy and proportion. Your lighting and shading effects are beautiful.

The focusing effects between the foreground and background were a nice touch as well.
Don't worry about the multiple light sources, you carried them out wonderfully! You were able to include the light, tone, and shadows over this subject with precission, that is quite an accomplishment.
I like the effect of their interaction. That had to have been difficult.
The legs seem a little off, or maybe just a bit undefined.
I love the face. Very well done.

I love that the light reflects up into his eyes...and I love the way you do your fur!
Though, you are asking for advanced Crits, so...
I'd really watch how you do foreshortening. His right hand seems to be a little unusual, probably beause of the lack of shadow in going from his arm, unless he's holding it at the same angle as his forearm, the shadows would fall diffrently.
Also his legs look a little short. I'd of brought his right one out a little further.
Though, I do like how he's sitting like cats do. Back arched, head down...::Grins::
Good work overall, just watch that foreshortening!

very cool... never seen anything like it. you want critique.... the tiger could be a little more orange. also the hands.. paws... look very humanish. i dont know if you wanted it ike that. the coloring is really beautiful^^

I like this a lot. The creative ideas you have on your page are very inspiring. I'm trying to get into fantasy, but so far, I've only tapped into the elf/ orc kind of thing. I would love to start creating new races. Great work. Exellent use of green. It's one of the most relaxing colors for me.

Thank you so much! Green happens to be one of my favorite colors, so I tend to use it a lot on things like this. Hrmm, as for the orc/elf thing, I took a gander at your gallery, and gosh, you do a darn fine job at them! And your wings are nifty to boot. As for new races, if you want to try half-human creatures, there's a lot of work of this sort out there done by 'the furry fandom' that you could try referencing and going through for ideas but a lot of the artwork contains explicit material. Yerf.com is a safe place to look for ideas though.
