Who's seen the finale of Vampire Diaries season 2!? Didn't you just love it? I know I did. *w*Damon is the reason I watch Vampire Diaries and FINALLY he might have a shot at dating Elena, now that Stefan is out of town.. Don't get me wrong, I think Stefan is a great guy. Not just as great as Damon, hahaha!
This scene is one of my favorites from season 2. Too bad the woman in it turned out to be Katherine instead of Elena. Poor Damon got deceived. 8C

Now that you've seen me draw people you know what they look like in real life.. Wouldn't you say I'm not that good at realistic stuff after all? XD

I'm "watching" Dexter at the moment, though I haven't watched any episodes in a loooooooong time. Maybe I should get back to watching, since I'm kinda bored most of the day anyway.

I don't really know who these people are, but I really like the drawing!
I can see that you have a little of the cartoonish/manga style on this realistic work. But I think if you worked a little bit more with realistic stuff, you'd defiantly improve great! :3
I'm not saying this is bad, I think this drawing looks great! The nose looks fantastic, and lips and eyes! But I can see the hair needs a little more work to get the realistic in it. It looks a little bit manga-ish.

I didn't know wether to do semi realism or complete realism. xD But my reference pic was pretty bad, I had to print it so that I would be able to draw during lessons and the print wasn't very successful. Thus the hair looked very messy in it and I was on my own while drawing it. So no wonder it looks manga-ish.
It took like 4 hours to draw their faces and making their hair took maybe an hour. *phail*

Yeah, I saw that the reference pic had a bad quality. Besides you could hardly see how her hair looked like. >u<;; I think the first main thing is to choose a good quality picture, to get the best out of it. But doing it like this, will also help to improve realism. And I know that drawing realism can be a hell of a work! Because it's hard! But one can't do anything else than just practice. x3
And by drawing realism, I've also noticed that it's easier to draw other things. ^^

Mm, but when you can't find a good quality picture you'll have to make choices; wether choose the picture you like even though its quality isn't so good, or then choose another shot you might not like as much but its quality is good. I always choose the one I like. In the ideal occasion the one I like has good quality, of course. XD
But yes, when I seriously draw something just for practise, I'll make sure to search a high quality reference.
