I don't know why, but I wake up every morning at three, struck with some really great idea for a drawing. Sometimes I even have to reach over to my desk and scribble it down on a piece of paper, then hope I can read my own writing in the morning. I'm sure I'm not alone in this, and others have their own magical hours of optimum cerebral function. It's kind of annoying sometimes, because there are nights when I would really rather be asleep instead of planning out a drawing for the next hour, but I guess I shouldn't complain. Inspiration is hard enough to come by sometimes!So, I give you a quick sketch of one of those mornings.
