Description Oil paint sucks. I sacrificed one of my favorite shirts to this sucker. It's got a big yellow smear on it, and I look all pale and sickly in yellow.

I like how this turned out, but I think I'm going to have to stick with media that allows a little more articulation. This stuff kills me.

this pic is beautiful and you should keep doing it! use your shirt for a memory!! my clothes always get messed up from all my work too!! but it's great to do all sorts of media-i agree to that also!!!

Oil painting?! Awesome! So few people use them anymore these days, or so it seems. I think this is absolutely gorgeous, the colours are so vibrant and warm, plus that the composition is very interesting. ^^ Maybe you could've used a slightly smaller brush to make details, but I'm sure you had more than enough trouble with as it is. x3

Great composition and pose. I know what you mean about oils, and thick paints in general. The skin is done better than the cloth. Maybe you could try mixes media.

look on the bright side, now you have a dedicated pianting shirt that can't get ruined (further).
