Description
Laethis is a my Drow OC who got wounded and left behind during his initial raid to the surface. A Thiefling saved him for some not particularly selfless reasons and Laethis was forced to spend some time in a human town. In a few months he managed to find his way home, the Underdark, only to find out that his House was devastated and he was the only survivor. He got caught by his rivals before he could claim anything, but thanks to an incredible luck (actually, to the DM =3) he managed to escape the Underdark and flee to the surface.

He even made "friends" with a half-elf bard, and met some other creatures that weren't hostile to him. After some time spent with them he grew to think that surface wasn't too bad place, as he learned that everything he was taught all his life wasn't entirely true.

Laethis ended up kind of attached to the bard who was still by his side and that eventually doomed him. During an attack by the Giants, Laethis made the first selfless decision in his life — he tried to save the bard, but went down himself. The party that he was with retreated, leaving the Drow behind. At least they took the senseless bard with them.

When they came back, the Giants had left and taken Laethis with them. The party tracked them down and even managed to slay, but it was too late for Laethis.
