Finally finished my second bookmark at the beginning of this week. It's the second bigger project on my Get it done 2013 list. This means now that you get all the information about and around this project and not just a link to previous WIP stages.

I've started it on March 13, 2013 and finished it around September 18, 2013. Almost exactly half a year for this project. The first WIP looked like this (still a long way to go). It is a kit from Vervaco. You can find a picture of the kit here .

Final size: about 6 x 20 cm (2.4" x 8") or 27 by 102 stitches.
Materials used: 14 count Aida, DMC cotton yarn in 13 colors, sewing needle, scissors and some nerves.

Interesting fact: For the shadow and the book at the bottom all colors of the kit had to be used.
