Description
On an unimportant part of Irk located in a dense unexceptional city, Lumm's home could be found packed tight amongst small slummy buildings not unlike her own.

After rejecting the offer of a face-to-face interview with the judges, Lumm's sister Zia managed to convince her to go with a recorded session instead. There was no feasible way for Lumm to travel the distance without the use of a vehicle and if anyone knows Lumm they'd know the mere mention of a ride in a cruiser would only bring grief to both her and the driver.

Carrying a digital tablet, Zia made her way down to the basement where her sister was waiting. With the light of the tablet guiding her Zia opened the door to the stairs and walked into the darkness. With each step Zia could feel the temperature rise and the air hug her skin. The scent of dirt and life assaulted her senses, a smell she had only recently become accustomed to.

"Does the screen have to be so bright?" Lumm complained loudly as her sister approached.

"The judges do need to see your face." Zia sighed, preparing the tablet for recording. In the light, she could see Lumm settled onto the only piece of furniture down in the greenhouse. A ratty old couch that had been mostly devoured by some kind of tree... It sank and ripped every time she moved. Zia just wanted to get this over with, feeling a little overwhelmed as she noticed more things randomly growing out of here or there.

"Here we go." She glanced at Lumm who was glaring at the tablet now floating a couple feet away from her face. And so the tablet began to recite the questions set the by judges:

Lyra: Do you ever think there will be galactic peace? Why or why not?

The glare quickly turned even more foul at the question, her disbelief evident. "S'cuse me but did you people forget what race we are?" She seemed to have a lot more to say but couldn't find the words, still stunned by the absurdity of the question. "Can't believe this question got by a Vortian judge..." Zia mimed frantically behind the tablet, knowing that the question was actually Lyra's.

"Wha...oh!" Lumm's antennae sagged as she pressed a knuckle into her forehead. "Sorry, forget that."

"No, peace will only come when the Tallest and the Armada either A: Find something tougher than them or B: find an end to their conquest and eventually turn on themselves."

Croi: What are your aspirations for the future?

"The future? Hell, I don't even know what I do with myself on a day to day basis!" Lumm snorted, shrugging a little. "I wouldn't mind seeing my plants grow to their full potential someday though..." She looked almost thoughtful before shaking her head. "Not like that's gonna happen here on Irk, all this f-"

Zia promptly cut the recording as Lumm went on a brief but colourful rant about Irk's lack of plant life and over population.

Blue: If you had one million monies, what would you do with it?

"Easy, buy myself a nice ripe planet in the middle of nowhere and live on it!" She said this with vigor, her eyes already lost in the vision. "I'd grow what I want and make an Irk the way it use to be. None of this skyscraper garbage and especially no damn cruisers around..."

"You'd need one to get your planet." Zia whispered, a smirk on her lips.

"I'd pay them to knock me out!" Lumm snapped, her face wrinkling with wrath. Who exactly Lumm would pay was not really determined yet in her mind either. "Who cares, get on with it." She grumbled, unable to look at the tablet or her sister in the eye.

Aingeal: What makes you happy?

"This of course." Lumm let herself relax, petting the leaf hanging out by her head. "Growing things...it's just something I love doing. You know what though, I try not to concern myself with being happy. If it ever came to that point it's because somehow I'm doing something that sucks and I try to avoid that." She explained as if the very idea of her own happiness would ever be at risk." But there's always eating and exploring. Pretty much all I do." Her smile turned impish, "The occasional brawl never hurt too much either."

Sen: What is your favorite outfit so far? Why?

"I didn't really care about what I wore. My sister pretty much dragged me into this competition..." Lumm started slowly, "But the gemstone theme...it was really important to me." She finished in a single breath, suddenly shy about the question. Fashion was something far out of Lumm's interest so elaborating on the topic only made her embarrassed. Plus the outfit's creation was just a little too personal...

Anon: If you had to do one very sweet act of kindness, what would you do?

"A kindness." Lumm repeated, raising an eyebrow. "I dunno. I just might let Zia know where I put her cruiser keys." Lumm threw her head back and laughed wickedly as Zia charged her as she knew she would. The tablet forgotten, the sisterly fight was also recorded.

"You're the one that hid them!? I swear to IRK Lumm, it's been 2 weeks!!"
