Description I always imagined Luna to have a sort of old painting look to her. Like the girl with the pearl earring, or something. People often make her as pretty as a model, and I think there is something totally other and aethereal about her, in a way quite unline anyone else. The eyes, you see, the eyes must hold something both disconcerting and comforting.

I don't know if I did it here. It's an ongoing quest for me. This is an attempt.

Pencil and painting in Photoshop.

Exactly as I have imagined her!

I have just finished reading the whole HP series but I am lucky that I have never seen more than a few minutes of some one or two movies based on these books (and a couple of stills of course - it couldn't be avoided), so I am still free to imagine the most of the characters in my own way. And Luna Lovegood undoubtedly should have looked like on your drawing!

She looks beautiful the way you draw her. Many people draw her as ugly or as a model type of look but I think she would look in real life the way you draw her. She's a rare beauty if you ask me and I don't think many people see that. Oh and the radish earings are amazing!

I always saw her as a Holbein painting type, you know? Very English and quanitly pretty.

Thanks!

This is exactly as I imagined her, she certainly has the dreamy or far off look in her eye as described.

Oh, I love her weird earings! Her eyes are what make her like just like Luna is supposed to look like, and her hair is also very important to the oveall Luna look, and you made her hair look great. Great job!

You've capture the exact look of how I always pictured her. I agree with you on her having the "old painting" qualities. The lips, eyes, and neck really capture that as well. Also, the hair shade choice really works nicely.

Thank you! Well, I was only really trying to flesh out what the book described. Thanks!
