Ruin J. Huntre (lololol see what I did thar?)
A young man from the Kanto region. He decided to journey to the Sinnoh region and become a Pokemon Coordinator there, but instead finds himself working at a quaint but unusual Antique Shop in Solaceon Town. Much like his employer and her relics, Ruin has collected a variety of Pokemon from several regions with help from his friends. Quiet, friendly and very passionate about all things Pokemon, Ruin is trying to move forward with his life and leave his not-so-desirable past transgressions behind.

Rio the Raichu (M)
met at Viridian Forest
Rio is Ruin's oldest Pokemon and dearest friend. When Ruin was younger, he was walking home one stormy evening, only to come across a small Pikachu. The Electric Mouse Pokemon seemed to be in pain and its tail was badly crippled. Without a moment to spare, the boy rushed the Pikachu to the Viridian Pokemon Center and left him in the care of the local Nurse. The next day when he returned, he learned that the Pikachu was struck by lightning that night, causing dangerous amounts of electricity to build up in his body. Being grateful for his kindness, Rio decided to taf along with Ruin wherever he went; eventually becoming a house pet as Ruin was not old enough to properly train Pokemon.

As a Raichu, Rio retains a small cut on his tail that was caused by the lightning striking him as a Pikachu. Even after evolution, the scar remained, though Rio doesn't seem to mind it at all. However, he is often humorously mistaken for being a female Raichu because of this.

Cole the Typhlosion (M)
met at Professor Elm's Lab
A cheerful Typhlosion if ever there was one. Cole is always smiling and eager to have fun whenever he pops out of his pokeball. As a Cyndaquil, he had a habit of scurrying off even though no one would call him out, and was very troublesome. When Ruin paid the professor a visit, Cole quickly became smitten with the young man and absolutely refused not to return to his Pokeball, opting to stay with Ruin. Eventually, his stubborness won Ruin a new Pokemon and a new friend.

Even as a Typhlosion, Cole does things at his own pace, though he is slightly more obedient now. He might be a powerful Fire-type, but he has a tendency not to take things very seriously. Still, his cheerfulness helps maintain the team's morale and he is fairly dependable most of the time.

Jur the Zangoose (M)
met in a Trade.
Jur is from the distant land of Hoenn, and having been given to Ruin, doesn't seem all too friendly with him. While he is a competent Pokemon, he isn't as close to Ruin as his other teammates. It might be because he still has strong feelings for his previous trainer. Fortunately, his former trainer does occasionally travel to Solaceon, and he is always overjoyed to see her when she visits. Despite outward appearances, Jur and Ruin work very well together, but like to keep their relationship 'strictly professional.'

When interacting with his teammates, Jur comes off as being very serious, and is the victim of many a comedic moment. Ruin amusingly refers to him as 'the straight man' of his party.

Blues the Floatzel (M)

Blues was not only the first Pokemon Ruin had ever caught in the Sinnoh region, but the first Pokemon Ruin had ever caught in his entire career as a Pokemon trainer (Rio had befriended him, and he had received a Starter from Professor Rowan in Twinleaf Town) Because of this, he has a tendency to be very proud of Blues, and gives him the most affection of his teammates. The other Pokemon don't seem to mind, though, since Ruin's affection comes in the form of utterly babying his precious Pokemon, which can sometimes be very embarassing for Blues. Ruin even goes so far as to refer to himself as 'Daddy' when speaking about Blues.

As a Buizel, Blues was incredibly timid, even cowardly. He was fairly useless in battle as he constantly ran away from his opponents. But every cloud has a silver lining, and in Blues' case, he was remarkably talented at dodgin enemy attacks and was fast enough to outrun most any other Pokemon. Seeking an alternative way to train Blues, Ruin opted to enter him in Pokemon Contests. To his surprise, Blues enjoyed this immensely, and treated Contests less like a battle, and more like a game. Gradually, he got used to battling.

Anji the Futachimaru (M)

Anji is a rather unique Pokemon. Being a Futachimaru, he is not native to the Sinnoh region and even in Unova, his species is a rarity. Ruin received Anji as a Pokemon egg through strange, supernatural means. Anji is a Pokemon from the Dream World, a mysterious place that very few people know of. Despite the highly unusual circumstances of his origin, he gets along well with the other Pokemon and seems to be a fairly normal Futachimaru.

Much like Jur, Anji is a very serious Pokemon. He isn't good at playing pranks or cracking jokes, and devotes most of his time training with his master or meditating by himself. There is one way to crack through his icy personality, though, and that is with the help of Rhapsody, Blues' daughter. Ruin notes that Anji and Rhapsody are 'connected' though what this implies remains to be seen. As such, Anji is patient enough to put up with the mischieovous Rhapsody and her antics. Perhaps he's just wary of offending her when her parents are within vicinity?
