You dare the uncommon concepts a bit too much for this era. Is like you feel you don´t fit here.
Small scientist greately enjoying his experiments, you have already covered all your windows and ins and outs, for to feel into your own element while discovering new... whatever new to you means...
Most of your works are modern allegories of your brain stories or memories and /or true witnesses of the experiments.
Pain, darkness, routine, discipline, solitude almost everywhere. All of them are hidden behind several capes of intellectual coldness. But you love this, although, including the very genuine concepts, like love or pure play or happiness, are dyed into decayed and wrapped off feelings, feelings you transform into their opposite, actually. A lot of irony, much sarcasm, a lot of revolt (mainly against uniformization - mathematically and socially) in almost all your works (except the ones with Momo, or with your father or those works dedicated to SHE). Every single thing of this world is reduced/ or exaggerated or deformed, including such ordinary things like food or flowers or moon. People are bizarre creatures - one moment shadows, but mean shadows and highly stupid. And anything around you is artificial.
Note: every time I say "you" I refer to "the you" from the works, "the you" depicted by the artist, not you, from the real life, ok?
I know nothing would stop you to send a nano to explore the amount of black between the earth and the moon (for instance), but, may I ask, what makes Nao to enjoy such adventure?

Do you know famous words of Le Comte de Lautréamont?
"Accidental encounter between sewing machine and umbrella on dissection table"
Even if you seek meaning to surrealism it is empty in the box.
Do you seek the meaning for the burning giraffe?
(Freud flow analysis game?
My individual artwork is packed with my emotions.
But I will not be willing to talk about it in many words.
Architecture should be talked about in architecture, paintings should be told in paintings, words should be told in words.
I do not believe the symbolism in painting a lot.
I am Nao. It is not nano.
Do you think I am not enjoying it? LOL

I already saw and said you enjoy it, you like to do this... This is very clear...
I was rather curious to know or to understand, when you create such uncommon "visions" (let´s keep this word for the communication sake), what do you like most, what do you enjoy most?
Well, but if you do not wish to say it, is ok... I won´t insist..
I know you are Nao, but nano is Nao´s creation and this is just one of the connections without connection... if we are to speak in Ducasse language... although there is not such thing as accident when one has decided to replace something with something else...
In my opinion, no matter how inexplicable is the meaning in surrealism, per general, when one creates, even in exclusion, soul cannot be subtracted. Soul is selective even if two random realities are to be chosen as making part from one other new reality.
I do not think we create for a meaning, but rather for the sake of an idea or another...
Now some may say is meaning, but we create on the base of sole of what it feels, nothing else... even if what it feels comes from madness, pure selection, random selection, or stationary/and/or circular wisdom, or dichotomy, etc (the list is damn infinite...)
These are just my opinions, I do not claim they apply to anything, I do not say anybody should agree with them, no...

Painting is what you feel.
It is not meant to critique or understand what is drawn.
Do you like it or dislike it?
Why do you like it or dislike it?
It does not ask other people, it asks yourself.
Let's draw.

No, I do not just paint... Painting is just a hobby for me...
(I did not posted on DA, but I´m into at least 4 more ... "branches" seriously, not as a hobby)
I also said, I won´t insist...
(so I do not expect an answer to my previous wonder...)
But creating, in itself, it is something that bugged me since ...ever...
I ask others all the time the same question for I long to see if others think
something is need it where all is complete... and why...
Haven´t you ever wondered?
We all change the matter of things on a daily basic...
independently of liking or disliking...
I find this amazing. I think people have their own explanation for this and is not always the same
(you know they say we are alike, but we are not, actually... and such craps)
But something is pushing us towards complexity and completion and this... is fascinating from where I stand
I still probably lack much experience...
So maybe this is why I still wonder...
Yes, let´s draw!
Thank you for our little "chat" here, Nao!

The inside of the box is transparent.
Even if you understand paintings with your words, you can not understand the emotions of the author.

I want to make art that appeals to feelings.
What is art for me?
It is a tool to fight with my own emotions.

For me, it is a tool or world domination and global dictatorship.
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...
Not really - it is a tool to give substance to my ideal world[s].
