Oh Yea!Id hafta say this is one of my best "Random 'Nuka Pics"! it also happens to be one of the pics i drew while in North Carolina with ~Meechi about 2 weeks ago...
Besides inspiration from and OLDER sketchbook and Roux's old style, my main inspiration would undoubtedly bt ATB! or should i say his first CD? hence the title. i listened to the CD well over 2 1/2 times while working on this. personally i think the picture has a getter "feel" and makes more sense if you listen to his music while looking at it. especially "SunBurn" - " Don't Stop" and "UnderWater World"! my faves at the moment.
cause Reiko pointed out like 3 or 4 new ATB CDs at FYE yesterday when he found the CoR soundtrack.
I wonder if this should be my 'featured deviation'?

Okay wow, I love this.
The only thing that looks a bit off is the placement of the latter arm and the tail.
BUT NO.
Lovely smooth coloring, wonderful pose, great job on the inking and definitely the movement. You can almost feel the song through the movement, you really get that down well in most of the pictures you've done in which are based on a song.
It's just, perfect.

Truth be it told, it takes an artist's true talent to show more then just colors and a design in their pieces.
Emotion, character, and feelings make substantial add-ins to great artwork. These characteristics are always a sign of the artist's true character. Guess what I saw in your pieces...

Well, I'll take this piece as an instance, because I'd take too long to describe all the others.
I see a fulfillment of joy due to your enjoyment of music, in this case ATB. I also see a dedicated effort in the piece to try and show movement (ie. dancing) by the character (ie. you), even though the picture can't move. I almost feel in the piece, because I know what ATB sounds like. (Good stuff, by the way.)
I can tell that you're not over-excited, because you're not jumping up and down or waving. I feel that the true enjoyment of music is not shown by excess of physical force, but by the little things. You're shutting your eyes, you've got the rhythem, and you don't over-exert to it.
I just see the music, through your actions, which is really hard to describe, I guess. Good stuff, truly good.
