I had a huge-ass description explaining who this came to be and why but I chose to simply drop all of it, since I'd rather people comment about the image and not what I talk about in descriptions. Alltho, when I first worked on it I was really really excited and even scanned the sketch/ink in case...but now I see how I could've done better and whatnot. So it's just kind of...there, I suppose. XD I definetely won't deny that I like the outcome, it's just that I had planned an entire background and ended up getting annoyed and did the wind instead. No critique please, since I believe that the flaws are what make the image really work and look nice. Nothing's ever perfect yanno.
I have atleast 3 other images of the new 'Nuka like this I'm going to try later.

• Drawn on heavy cardstock with pencil, pen and colour pencils while
listening to Polovtsian in under about 11hrs on October 28th, 2005.
• The borders were added in PSCS2 in under 5 minutes.

(rubs eyes)Whoa! This looks like, omg, I can't even believe it. I'm speechless. Everything is pefect about this image. There is nothing I don't like, nothing I can critique on at all. I'm going to fav. this after I finish writing up this comment. I think you've come so far over the past years on deviantart, even if I haven't been here to see it. I can see your gallery, watch your attitude change through each page and picture, and your talent grow. This is the peak of peaks. Wait, I take that back. I think you can do even better and I can't wait to see where you go from here. You're young and already with such a talent as this. Jeeze, maybe I should actually comment on the picture. LoL.
She is beautiful. Do you look like this in real life? I don't mean exactly, but the jist of it? Let's start from the back and move foreward. The leaves are great colours and the butterflies remind me of stained glass. Stained glass, fluttering around you. Sounds like a poem almost. Stained glass butterflies...LoL. Already, I'll keep going. It is a peaceful picture that brings a bit of trainquility, it is ease to the mind. The colours aren't overly bright that they invade the eye. Nuka's old concept was nice as well, not overwhelming for some reason, but this seems more mature. Just as I said on Reiko's new reference. It shows how much wisdom and talent you have gained over the years. The colours are so beautiful, and now that it's December, we just came from the golden leaves falling from the tree. This is so much fun to see. Her clothes are neat too. Or lack there of. xD Just kidding...The necklace (I think...) is really pretty as well. It seems very authentic, and looks great.
In conclusion, a very nice picture, I'm going to go and fav. it now because I think this is probably the best picture of the year. I'd vote for it! Keep up the great work Nanuka, can't wait to see more from you.

This is so pretty~ Like, seriously. I love all the earthtones and the naturey feel. And I will never get over how nice 'Nuka's new design is. I am totally loving all those colors~ Loving the simple Native American-esque outfit, especially the feathers. The wings look really nice, you've got some serious wing-drawing skills. And I think the wind and the leaves work nicely together. They add more detail to the pic without distracting from it and give a more mytsical, spiritual kinna feel.

Wow 'Nuka. This is really... just I can't even think of the word! lol. It's really magnificant! I'm really really impressed! Truly! And honestly, I don't see much wrong with it myself and you are right- often times it's the errors that make an image seem more organic or flowing, sometimes more appealing too. 
whew long-ish comment lol! I just wanted to put out more of a responce this time since I really enjoy this image. I'm sooooo putting it on my desktop some time lol.

Remarkably beautiful!! Nuka's pose is quite directive and natural, and the leaves blowing around her give her a sense of healing energy. Her buckskin garments really bring the autumn feeling to life, for the charm of this season is timeless and closely associates with America's antiquity. I love this beautiful theme in a spiritualistic approach!!

I see that you don't want an in-depth crit for it, but I will say that your style is maturing. Certain elements show that, such as the changing of your character, the implementations of real objects... I mostly noticed her hands in this piece. They look much more real and make 'Nuka that much more real, if you know what I mean. I look forward to seeing more work done with your new designs. ^^

Now I'm definitely used to the change in Nuka's design. It's toned down and more ... real..ish. I like this outfit very much, it goes with the personality and brown earthy colors and stuff... I love the feathers too. Instead of having the same old white feathers/wings that everyone in the universe used, theyre a nice normal brown, so thy are less harsh on the eyes and stuff. I also wanna say that I think the hands are really good. ... leeaaf.
