Hello everyone!I FOUND A TIME MACHINE AND WENT BACK TO WHEN I USED TO DRAW TLK STUFF. Here's Cougari in that style and MAN! I forgotten how much I used to love it.
Here's Cougari back in her roots! The Lion King, here at it's 20th anniversary, I wanted to pay homage to a movie that literally changed the way I look at art. This movie means so much to me. It made me want to be a better artist. It inspired me in ways no one could ever know. The music, the artwork, the fic, the fandom, it was it's own culture. It opened a lot of doors for me. I don't think I'd be who I am today artistically were it not for The Lion King.

My work has essentially imploded and I have been scrambling to do a lot of things. It makes me very upset that I had to give up furthemore, but I just wasn't able to do that and my other obligations.

The twent— Oh, dang, was that today? *checks Wikipedia* Oh, it's on Sunday. Not sure what I'd want to do to mark the occasion anyway.
But yeah, those were good times. Both being a kid twenty years ago ('94 was also the second time we went to Diznywrld, the last time I went as a kid) and being new to the Interwebs ten years ago.
Heh. You should follow this up by turning it around and drawing the actual Lion King characters as 'toons.
EDIT: By the way, Flywheel brings up a good point: I really appreciate that your gallery actually still goes all the way back. It's awesome seeing how you've improved and changed over the years. Way too many people just purge all that stuff every year or so because they're "embarrassed" by the fact that they used to be not-perfect. As if that's not completely normal.

Taking the time machine back to the start of your gallery too, shows how much time and practice has helped the inspiration. Nice work on this, both in homage to the movie, and also to working the Disney style well.
