"I thought about how you guys are always asking for pics of me in the wheelchair. And then I realised it's silly not to show you... after all, it is how I get around most of the time. My stumps are short, so it's really hard for me to walk with artificial legs. Using the wheelchair is more efficient and leaves me with energy to do fun stuff instead of just what I have to do.

"And yes, I know that you want to see my stumps bare, not hidden in socks. But that is harder for me. They're ugly and horribly scarred. My stumps don't have neat little scars like some amputees. Burns leave very ugly scars and I really don't like seeing my stumps bare or showing them off.

"But tell me.. can you see the scars on my arms? It wasn't only my legs that got burned. The doctors couldn't save my legs, but they did a good job with the other burns.

"Anyway, I hope you enjoy this picture."
