I hate mirrors ,that's why i paint all over them. :>it started when i was a kid ,my mom's lipstick had to suffer

I've always had this notion of mirrors being portals to a Mirror World, similar to 'Through the Looking Glass', but more distorted. And with many windows into the real world thanks to other mirrors.

As an amateur neuroscience geek, I don't think that Nano's work looks like that of colorblind artists. Colorblind people often notice patterns in textures that most of us don't notice within the range of their colorblindness. Colorblind artists tend to incorporate this in their work, either purposefully or inadvertently, and I've yet to see this in Nano's portfolio. On the contrary, much of her work seems to be very impressionist, which removes - or at least diminishes - this aspect of patterns and textures.
In addition to this, the color composition is perfect. High-contrast colors that grow lighter or darker with one another (notice how the reds get more vibrant as the purples get darker), and still a blending between them, are not something colorblind artists are known for excelling in. There's also no confusion or replacement of one color with any other in her more spectrum-spanning work (nanomortis.deviantart.com/art/โฆ ) although I could see an argument for it in some regions.
On the whole, it appears to me that Nano just has a very adept sense of color theory and composition, and just has a favorite look or feel. Of course, I could be entirely wrong, but I'm extrapolating based on my observations.

I think there is, even though you can interprate a piece of art however you want, this is maybe not what the artist thought about when making it ( so while it could be true it isn't really ).

Painting on mirrors...good idea...
What if people made art on mirrors (with oil or acrylic, I suppose, since watercolors would drip right off) and any negative space that's usually white would be reflective? :-D
