That aside, I think this is one of your best. I love Claus' pose, haha. He looks so relaxed (which is quite ironic) but there is something about it that shows his power as second in command. I guess it's how he looks proud and confident, especially with his leg crossed.

From this I can imagine him being quite a pest amount those Pigmasks, just like how you would imagine him to be like. (of course not basing it off how he behaves in front of Lucas and co.) I can see him just waiting to Porky to come around and be like, "What? I'm the master. Why are you looking at me like that?"

Your rendering is pretty neat as well. It's kinda "muddy" (don't know if I really picked the right word), but it works. The chair could be smoother though, it kinda looks fuzzy. Also you could try using different colours to shade. (I think I sometimes go a bit overboard with colours though)

I like the angle as well, reminds me that I need to do more work on that.

But seriously, I really like this one.

Didn't really intend on making such a long comment. It kinda developed into a critique. Hope you don't mind. I usually don't do this as much as I think I should, but I do like to help others. ^^

However, after the events of M3 and a loooot of therapy, I can imagine Clausy being really happy and cheerful most of the time, but still really really sensitive, lashing out on friends and family at times :/

I know I know ;_; I've struggled a lot with it, (Plus my patience with the whole thing was gone at this point) but I think I understand what you mean~ I'll keep that in mind. Since this draw, I've gotten better with my colour choices, I think. But for the sake of asking, do you have any suggestions? I don't usually shade things like this the way I did. Lmao(No such thing. I'm literally burning my retinas with my colour choices)

Colouring. Man, it's tricky to put in just words.

For colour choices I first pick out a base colour, just say red, ( I render this colour a lot haha). I always make this base colour bright. Then, for shading I usually go towards the blues and purples of the spectrum, and for lighting, yellows or white. So when I colour in something that's red, I shade with purples and highlight with oranges and yellows. I closely follow the spectrum. There's an infinite amount of colours so even if I'm shading blue I can use different shades of blue or purple. I always manage to get around it somehow.

Then there's brushes. I use brushes that are really good for blending colours together.

The image looks incredible! The different eye colors (i'm guessing the red eye is plastic and serves some other purpose like a scouter or something) and the scar from where presumably the Mecha Drago struck him... the commander outfit.... the angles and colors with detail.... I really do love this piece!

Well I assume from Claus's encounter with the Drago, it like scratched out the poor dear's lil eye :c
And yep, it makes sense. Tbh, I'm amazed that he's still alive after realizing that Drago's power.
