I like it, although I think that the glow thing you did on his laser gun is a little off... I would say change the color a little bit for the glow, but other than that I love the render, his pose is something I never would have thought of.
One more thing, that green slash effect near his left arm looks like it doesn't fit with the thumbnail, other effects look cool though.
