Sassy! Way to capture the movement in that fringe!

Really nice shot and not of a back bend or a twirl for once.
Thank you for sharing!
Who's the dancer?

Thank you and the dancer is me, before I crossed over to the sparkly side. I now dance primarily Egyptian style.

Cool!
I like Egyptian style too; I like everything!
Classic Egyptian Baladi especially has always made my heart sing in a unique way and I doubt that I'll ever grow out of it.

Its had the same effect on me. Guess its a sign that I'm maturing more as a dancer. Plus I've had some experiences that allow me to relate to the deeper meanings of those songs.

Congratulations.
Yes, I actually think that with baladi more than so many other genres of dance, what counts is actually your personal vocabulary of experiences in life and your personal maturity much more than your skill level.
It's not how long you've been dancing, it's where you're dancing from.

Of course, that can be said roughly about any sort of art or performance, but in styles like baladi and tango and flamenco, a dancer is lost without Life Experience to draw from...IMHO, of course.

Happy dancing - and please, dance a bit for me too, as I can't dance these days due to an injury.

I have met Mr.Baxter here in Dallas.
My wife is TamraHenna of Texas, and she flew him down here to do shoots of her troupe, and a few other bellydancers here.
He does great work, and is a wonderful and professional man.

nice pic!
