This is a photo of the tattoo I got yesterday on my 20th birthday.

When I was 13 I was really really into anime, my favorite was InuYasha. I loved anime and manga so much that I wanted to make my own. The tattoo is actually my own artwork and this is my very first character I ever created, her name is Nanashi. She was based off of myself and I solved most of my problems drawing her. She is one of my favorite characters and in fact her name is in my DA username! That's how important this character was to me, and still is.

My friends, whom also loved anime, also made characters for me based on themselves and I started a small comic about us and our friendship. Our characters would go on adventures and do thing we wished we could do. It was a funny little comic that I still have actually. Then high school happened and now my friends that I made that comic with don’t talk to me much anymore and a few don’t talk to me at all.

This tattoo means a lot to me because it will remind me of all the good friends I had in middle and high school and all the good memories we shared.
