Description
My boss asked me to draw a CG of Seth from waist up.
He didn't want a complicated pose. So I drew something simple. ^_^
Done in Open Canvas and Photoshop.....

the background caught my eye straight off. wonderful, so very detailed .. you put a lot of work into that, no??
the character is also drawn superbly, the anatomy is all correct this time ^^ no flaws at all, a beautiful picture.

That's amazing, it's nothing i could ever do in my life. I'm still trying to figure out how to use Open Canvas...! and plus, I don't know how exactly to watercolour on Photoshop so... eeh heh
I realise you got the front leaves from Photoshop but the trees are amazing, the detail and the intricate shades, everything's amazing and the colour matches everywhere, there's not exactly one bit that stands out more than the other. It all stands out just the same.

You can't CG? WHAT THE HECK????????? That is soooooooooooooooo not true! Your Oekaki's are exceptional! And the techniques in CG'ing is roughly the same as oekaki'ing.

I like the almost "collage" style of the background: rather apt for a forest, and a nice compliment to the oil style shading of the central character. The proportions of his right arm at the back do look a tiny bit off, but the use of the lighting effect and vibrant colouring of the hair and eyes draw the focus for the piece so well that I had to look at the image for a very long time before noticing this...
Or perhaps it's just me: perhaps I have stubby limbs...
