Hmm, this picture is actually about being bound by one's own afflictions by choice. Uhm, dont do that peoples! Or else you will look really creepy like this!
(And ignore those ridiculously long limbs! XD )
CS2. 4 hours or so.
Also, I used a brush I made from a texture by princess-of-shadows. [link]

looks great. real dark and murky. almost demonish. Cuh-razy. neway yeah, the thing about hte legs being to long, i think it kind of fits, like everything is dragging down and dripping. i think it works for this pic.

Very nice, just don't start combing your bangs over one eye. Great Color scheme,and excellent use of drapery. have you experimented with subtle overlaping in with legs to show more dimensionality.

Yeah haha by the time I got all the way down to drawing the legs I kind of got lazy XD If I ever do decide to fix the length of them though, I'll definitely have one overlapping the other a little bit so its not so flat. (I might even draw the whole leg too lol)

No really, it looks amazing. definitely can feel the tone of the drawing really well. Something about the shadows and textures just really emphasize the portrait emphasis very well.

I really like the little subtle hints of color in her hair (ether that or my monitors retarded...) and the background texture is totally awesome. it must take a lot of guts to put up something that must have so much meaning.

Yeah haha originally she had all these red highlights in her hair, but it looked kinda wierd so theyre still there, but I turned the opacity way down on it.

Ahh so this is the one that you were talking about. It's definately not something I'm used to seeing from you, not to say that it isn't good, just different. Nice job on the ropes, you can really get a good feel from them almost like dangling vines and like old and teathered. Looks good, what happened to her right leg though? like I think I can see the outline of the other foot and a rope, but it's not there?

I can't really explain as to why, but I really do like this one. Perhaps because as you said, you never post your "emo" pictures, so it seems like a different style for you.
