Thanks, Mary! Tips? I'm not sure, but I'll just describe how I colored Marine's hair. I go from light to dark, first using the lightest shade to lightly color in all of the hair (even the parts with the shine), then use the same shade to press slightly harder over the right areas. Just repeat with each shade--when I color, I follow the line of the hair, so the lines of color match up with the line-art (if I phrased that right)? Don't press too hard, so the darker colors can still be added, and if some areas are too light when you're done, you can still go back and recolor over it. I hope that helped a bit.

Haha, thanks, Vivian! I'm glad you like so much of it. I'll try to keep you guys updated as I develop more of the story later, but Project 314 as a whole is supposed to be made up of about thirteen mini-stories that mesh together, so it'll be a little tough.

Thanks, Hito! Drawing hair is so much fun. Any suggestions to making the eyes look more correct? I feel like I'm paying less attention to getting things right now.

Yeah, Gamzee<>Karkat makes a pretty good amount of sense. I was kind of rooting for Gamzee<>Tavros, actually. But Karkat was the second choice.

Well..i honestly don't have much experience in that either xD but i've found out that drawing the lines and stuff..you know..the sketchy stuff that not many people do with the cross on the head and all..helps a lot when you're trying to figure out how big or long to make the eyes. :l you probably already do this xD
The main thing is to try and get the head shape as correct as possiblee, so the guidelines wont be off, and before inking in everything, you may want to wait a day or two then look at your drawing. xD It's easier for me to find mistakes when i havent looked at my art in a while. Something about seeing the big picture instead of focusing on all the tiny details while you're drawing. :d

and I think my main motive for supporting Gamzee<>Karkat is that Karkles is further away on the hemospectrum, and because Eridan/Equius would make a fit about it and i think its fun when either of them is disturbed iunno...but this is all in my mind because theyre both dead ;A; but i love Gamzee<>Tavros too ;A; those horrid rap-offs! ...and Gamzee<3Equius too..-headdesk-

I do the cross thing, but at the same time I don't think I pay much attention to it after the general things. I'll work on that; thanks! Waiting seems to be a good idea, too. (Those details. >.>)

I thought Karkat wasn't even on the hemospectrum, though. On account of being a mutant and whatnot. But that works, too. Oh, Eridan. You shall be forever alone. Yes! Those rap-offs were terrible! But I loved Tavros anyway. He was kind of adorkable.

Lol D: i have a habit of doing that too. I'm not very used to drawing the cross or any beginning circle shapes in the first place so i tend to stray if i feel that i didnt draw it right :l And waiting is very helpful! sometimes. lol D: a few times i did that i looked back on my drawing and thought it was horrible. xD So do this at your own risk D:

The plot is still in really early development, but it's set in the future and heavily focuses on technology and entertainment (music, fashion design, movies, video games) in some shape or form.
