Description A notebook, a pencil and a beautiful quiet and inspiring location: all a poet needs.

One of my favourite of my own photos. I must have taken about 20 pics with basically the same idea and I think this is one of the best. One reason why I like the idea, must be because it combines my two sides as artist/deviant: photography, and poetry. I hope you like it too. Please tell me your opinion!

The trees look quite small and a little like apple trees but I can be totally mistaken. We have a delicious apple tree standing in our garden (yes our student house has a garden) but this year there was too much rain and the apples become rotten before they were ready It's a pity but I'm already looking forward to next fall.

Apple tree might well be right!

What do you study?

Nightscales In reply to namenotrequired [2013-03-03 10:21:42 +0000 UTC]

At the moment I study nothing unfortunately! Well, just having a little break -- I have rsi at the moment. In a week I'll be following a course again and finishing some assignments. I now have had a uni break for about 3-4 weeks. It's not that my RSI is extremely painful - I gave myself room soon enough before it got too bad - but it's there and prevents me from learning - can't write during lectures, can't do practicals fully, computer assignments etc. But to answer your question, I study biology with the Organismal and Developmental major It's fun. I really must watch out of not wanting to do too much again with my RSI - but being here on DA, drawing art makes me relax and is actually good for me atm. I also bought a longboard last januari to go out and sport more, it's FUN. But there was a lot of snow and rain so I haven't practiced that much yet.

What's your study?

namenotrequired In reply to Nightscales [2013-09-12 17:29:03 +0000 UTC]

Sounds good! I'm very interested in biology myself. I study Informatics but I'm considering a minor in Future Planet Studies or so

Is the RSI gone/better now?

Nightscales In reply to namenotrequired [2014-03-01 18:54:34 +0000 UTC]

Haha I'm cleaning my inbox right now. So late repy!

But yes my RSI is going MUCH better now. Oh really? I'm currently really enjoying studying plants. But the subject i'm currenlty studying is mainly the pathology of plants. Also health/diseases in general is interesting :3
Are you still studying informatics?Β

It happens. Glad to hear!

Sounds interesting. Yes, I am! It's quite boring these days though

Nightscales In reply to namenotrequired [2014-03-04 09:24:18 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! Why is it boring, too easy? Not your kind of topics? Or simply not really into studying

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

namenotrequired In reply to Nightscales [2014-03-05 11:30:16 +0000 UTC]

No exciting topics anymore and I'd learn much more on my own way D:

Nightscales In reply to namenotrequired [2014-03-05 19:09:07 +0000 UTC]

That's a pity. Are you sure you'd have enough motivation to study if you're not entailed to do subjects? But I totally get your point. Right now i'm following this course which is 75% computer modules and 25% group essay. It's great to just have the freedom to do the work whenever you want, how fast/intensive you want.Β

Can't you do both? or at least experiment/learn things on your own? if ya have timeΒ

namenotrequired In reply to Nightscales [2014-03-05 20:07:09 +0000 UTC]

I guess I'll stick with it for now I'll make sure to get my adventure outside of it. Besides, I hope to get a very long break in a few months where I can learn a lot on my own way

I LOVE this. Make me think of long-ago days when I could just wander around outside with my notebook. Such a simple yet blissful activity. You've done an excellent job with the photo. It really pulls the viewer in. I can feel the sunlight and smell the grass. I think I'm going to download this and make it my wallpaper. Hope that it inspires me further.
