Very nice! As an intermediate beader I found it easy to understand, but in reading your discussion with snazzie-designs I was reminded of what it was like learning. If I ever write a tutorial I will try to keep this in mind.
Nameda, you state no selling the jewelry, this doesn't really effect me, as I only really make jewelry as gifts for friends and family, I try to focus on my own beaded flowers, but for other people, you may want to specify the ideas of intellectual property.

thanks for your input dear
Yep and even I see myself as intermediate beader well at least in some techniques I just bought a book with awesome flower lariats and necklaces... and I am completely lost as the description obviously is meant for very experienced beaders.

How do you think I could explain the rights better? English isn't my native language plus this is my very first tutorial ever.

Hiya. Thanks for the tutorial. I gave it a go, and here's my effort [link]

Overall, I thought that the tutorial was excellent , and easy to follow, but there are a couple of suggestions, that might make it easier for others to follow.

1. I presumed that the 1st step was to fold the string in half, once the string is cut to size? Then procede as described.

2. I was getting confused with the number references for the beads, so I would have found it easier if the instructions referred to the colour of the beads. For example put 4 green beads on etc, rather than 4 15/0 beads. Luckily the pictures were very clear so it wasn't a major problem.

3. The beads that I used for the 11/0 beads were not uniform in size. Some had smaller holes than others, so I was picking beads with wider holes for the crossover sections, but I didn't realise until I got to the end, and was about to start the outer loops, that the outer beads of the picots needed to be wide enough to allow the thread go back through, so I had to leave out the outer layer. Therefore, you might want to add a note on the top in the bead details section, before the instructions that the 11/0 beads need to have holes wide enough for the thread to go through twice.

Otherwise, excellent. Thanks again, and hope you like my effort.

thanks for your input
very nice bracelet.

1.) I thought this was logic, but I will change and re-upload it.

3.) regarding the 11/0's hat is the reason why I wrote Miyuki beads, Miyuki (or Toho) beads have pretty big holes any you can easily thread through it with a Nymo D or C-lon of the same size a couple of times. I as well have a bead reamer to widen a hole if it is very small, a tool I only can recommend to any serious beader. I myself was really fed up with the non-uniform of most beads. Since that time I only use Miyuki, Toho and high quality czech seed beads.

2.) I didn't name colours just in case someone wants to use different colours. I personally get highly irritated with the colours unless the colours are mixed of the same size.

Thanks very much. Please, please don't be insulted by my comments. Like I said, it is a really excellent tutorial, and I'm really pleased with the results. These are only really small suggestions from someone who is a complete beginner in bead work.

1. It is logical if you've done them before, but you have to remember that some people, including myself have never tried anything like this before, so with a tutorial you have to spell everything out. I guessed you should, and got it right and I'm sure most people could too, but just for future reference.

3. I've never heard of Miyuki beads, so I didn't know that the significance of Miyuki beads is that they have a wider hole. The best tutorials are adaptable to whatever people have already in their craft supplies. If I had to go online and buy specific beads for the tutorial, I wouldn't bother trying it in the first place, but I have got similar beads, and if I knew at the start about needing the wider holes for the outer beads of the picot, I would have chosen different beads.

I've never heard of a bead reamer before. That sounds like a great tool. I'm going to try and find one, as I was equally frustrated with trying to dig out beads with holes wide enough to go over the needle

2. Well if you don't like colours then maybe you could refer to small medium and large, but it's not really a big deal.

that's why the level is stated in the description as intermediate

I added the tools you should have under the materials list and that greater holes are needed for threading through a couple of times.
I added too Nymo size D so people know they do need a thin thread

A bead reamer is useful specially when you get cheap beads. Sometimes I had cheap glass pearls and the colour had gotten inside the holes or had left sharp edges which possibly could rip a thread. That's why I got a bead reamer myself. I just treat cheap beads before starting and than I don't have to interrupt the beadwork for such stuff.

You will be happier with high quality beads like japanese Miyuki or Toho or Czech Preciosa, because the beads are very uniform, which will make the final product look much better.

When I read a tutorial which implements materials I don't know I always immediately google to see if I can substitute it by something else or what kind it is. For example all known beading strings like Wildfire, Fireline, Nymo and C-lon I have to buy via ebay from US those things aren't available in Germany.
Miyuki and Toho is the same they are only available in a few shops and only a very limited colour scheme.

I think knowing what materials are used in a tutorial can help to avoid what happened to you.

But I am grateful for your input and comments

it was indeed it took me a couple of days to do the tutorial. The bracelet itself too... because I had to twiddle around till I got what I had in mind... The first try got victim of the scissors as it came out totally wrong

I will! I've never beaded before, so I think I'll try something more simple first, but I definitely want to do this ^^

I wrote intermediate but, I am sure you can do it as RAW is really easy to do specially with two needles, you could take bigger beads like I did with the winter colours one taking the 4 mm pearls (or even 5mm) instead of the 8/0's and instead of 11/0's 8/0's it wouldnt be as delicate but still very nice bracelet.
The most difficult thing is working with one thread... it tends to get tangled a lot in the beginning, but in the end its rewarding

its a pleasure just take care that you take 3 different bead sizes and start and end with a picot as you do need those for the embellishment.
If you have a question ask me please Its my first tutorial, plus english isn't my native tongue, so grammar corrections are welcome too
