Maybe you could explain this to me. What is Emo? I'm a hip hop Head so I Have NO Clue to the Mystery that is Emo. But i usually see people say "Emo" and then i see Studded Buckles, Striped Shirts, Bed Head, and Tight Jeans. I know that is stereotyping probably, but i'm trying to learn. Enlighten me

emo and gothic, to me, seem to be two very different things, but also two things that can relate.
basically the emo kid is a hormone-driven angsty im-gonna-make-people-feel-sorry-for-me kinda thing.

It's ok. I've had Emo explained to me about a dozen times and I've only just got it.
It's short for 'Emotional', basically as far as I understand it, it's used to refer to these over-dramatic, pseudo-goth wannabe kids who dye their hair black and spend all day in their bedrooms staring out of their window at the black black world and sighing over-dramatically.
That's how it was explained to me anyway.
