Description Messed up the eye, so had to use some gesso to bring it out.

Recently I've been seeing a plenty of coffee paintings here on dA, and decided to give it a go as part of my coursework experimentation thingymajig.
I had to do the tears twice, as the first time I messed them up and had to blend them back in, learning from my mistakes. They didn't come out too bad the second time, though. But it's shame that the shininess of dry strong-brew coffee didn't get picked up by the scanner It really adds a nice effect.

Thinking of doing more coffee paintings/ coffee and inkwash paintings!

Man, does this smell good
